As of 2023, many members of the UARC have become a part of the W4UAL VE Team, which is affiliated with the Laurel VEC.
If you wish to get licensed or to upgrade your license, feel free to contact Cassie Bell (KO4ILS) at 919-414-7614 or at cdbell7174@gmail.com to set up a test session. Please put some variation of "Amateur/Ham Radio test session" in the title of your email.
We also often are able to provide tests at special events, such as Field Days. If you are interested in intending one of those and getting licensed, please let us know.
We recommend studying at https://hamstudy.org/ or any number of other places, and waiting until you regularly pass the practice exams before scheduling a test session.
